The history of the CND

The history of the Creative Nail Design (CND) brand began in the USA, in the state of California, and has nearly 40 years of successful work. The company was created by the Nordstrom family under the leadership of the chemist Stuart. Over the years of formation and development, a small family business has become the largest corporation for the production of manicure products.

The Nordstroms have invented a series of materials for building and modeling nails, cutting-edge varnishes and tools for the care of hands, feet and body. Their nail coatings: varnishes, bases and tops - have established themselves as one of the most persistent. Today, in terms of quality and popularity, CND brand products occupy a leading position in the global market for manicure materials.

In 2010, CND released Shellac, the world-famous Shell-gel and varnish hybrid, which is characterized by durability, ease of application and a wide palette of colors and shades. Today the name "shellac" has become a household name: this is the name of all types of gel polish, including products from other companies. Although the invention of Shellac belongs precisely to the American company CND.

CND collaborates with eminent designers and fashion houses: Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, Alexander McQueen, Viviene Westwood. CND products participate in fashion shows at the best catwalks in the world and the awards ceremony Oscar, Grammy, MTV. With the CND manicure, many stars appeared on the red carpet, such as Jennifer Aniston, Katherine-Zeta Jones, Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow, Madonna and others. CND came up with 25 exclusive manicure designs in futuristic and rock style to show the Libertine spring collection at New York Fashion Week.
